Identification requirementsĪn applicant applying in person or who failed the EIV (Electronic Identification Verification) must provide two (2) current pieces of identification, one of which must be government-issued and include the applicant's name, date of birth, signature (where applicable), photo, and expiry date.īelow are the identifications accepted by the Service. All checks will be processed in the order received. There is one fee for online checks which includes in person assistance, if required. All record checks will be processed utilizing our online record system and the results will be sent to you by email. WPS assists with online police record check applications at Police Headquarters located at 245 Smith Street (main entrance off Graham Avenue) Monday to Friday 8 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. If your agency would like to pre-pay for applicants’ police record checks, please call 20 Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. Please note that more complex Record Checks or those that require further research may be delayed. We do not provide timelines regarding specific applications.We are currently processing applications received on JUL-06-2023.Criminal Record Check applications are processed in order of date received.
